How To Make Chicken Corn Pie
Chicken Corn Pie is so easy even your daughter can do this recipe. I use my fresh corn from the garden. You can use what you have. Just make sure you get all the water off. If you don't your Chicken Corn Pie crust will be soggy.
1 stewing chicken
1 qt. corn, cooked
pastry enough for two double crust pies
1. Cook the chicken and remove the bones. Make a thin gravy with the chicken stock.
2. Line 2 9" pie plates with pastry. Place meat and corn in alternate layers in crust. Add gravy enough to barely cover chicken and corn.
3. Cover with crust and seal the edges. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 mins. Eat hot with the remaining gravy.
If you like you can add cooked carrots, peas and potatoes cubed
