Romantic Valentine's Day Ideas - Chocolate Fondue Fun

Drag some friends in out of the cold and have a Chocolate Fondue party. It is always a fun way to spend time with friends or family. Maybe a girls get together.

Since there is not much time in the preparation and cook time everyone can enjoy it together. Another great thing about having a Chocolate Fondue Party is everyone gets to eat together.

Serve drinks. Coffee, regular or Hazelnut flavored will go great with your Chocolate Fondue. You can also serve a nice desert wine or after dinner liqueur.

Ice wines are great to serve with chocolate. The grapes used in Ice Wines are not picked until winter and have a sweet taste which goes great with Chocolate.

Make more then one type of chocolate. Your party will be special if you offer more then one flavor chocolate. You can have one based in milk or dark chocolate and one with white chocolate.

You do not want to use cheap or fake chocolate. It will not taste the same and most times it taste a lot sweeter.

When doing a fondue party it is best to prep the fondue in a pot on the stove over low-medium heat. When ready, transfer the fondue to a serving bowl, small crock pot or fondue pot.

It is also a good idea to have a bit of hot milk or cream set aside in case you need to thin your fondue, it might start to get dry.

You may want to have two pots, then everyone is not crowed around the same pot.

The swirling is the fun part so you want to have many dippers to chose from.
