HOW TO SELECT THE RIGHT SUNGLASSES
I go to the Dollar Store to buy sunglasses. I have to because I lose them and sit on them all the time. On the other hand my husband has a hard time selecting the right sunglasses. He says they make his nose look too big. So I set out to find the best shaped glasses for people with a larger nose. Of course my husband won't listen to me, but maybe some of you will try this style and let me know how they work.

MINIMIZE YOUR NOSE
From what I have read to minimize your nose choose sunglasses that have oversized frames with a lower bridge to keep the focus on the glasses rather than your nose. See how the bridge comes down between the lens frame instead of straight across.
Protect your Sunglasses
Now that you have invested in the perfect pair of sunglasses, you need to take care of them. Look who's talking. You would have to surgically implant them to the sides of my head so I don't lose them.
Use a Hard case- Try buying a few and keeping one in your purse, glove box, gym locker so you always have a safe place to stash them.
Avoid the dashboard -I did not know leaving your sunglasses on the dashboard can warp them. Put them in that hard case in your glove box.
Don't use them as a headband - that can stretch them and they can lose their shape. Youcan lose track of them also. How many times did you look for your sunglasses and they were on your head?
Never clean with - paper towels, pick up a few of those lint free cleaning clothes. Keep them in that hard case you have in your purse.

Interesting stuff. I am looking to buy some new prescription sunglasses in the next couple weeks and will most likely order online for the first time, doing my research I have found some really good deals online, latterly I stumbled across this useful application on the Vision Express website http://www.visionexpress.com/sunglasses/, they have a 'virtual try on' feature that enables you to try on glasses by uploading a photo of yourself, then simply selecting your specs!
Some great tips which I will use, I am always buying sunglasses, i wear them morning, noon and night depending on how bright the light is. My eyes far too sensitive. I get mine from discount stores due to the excessive wear and tear. I normally go for frames that suit the face.

I don't use them anymore since I have transition lenses, but I remember my kids always sitting on them upon getting into my truck. I went through many, many before I learned to put them up. Now I have to watch out for my one dog who likes to destroy glasses. Sheesh!
