The Fat loss 4 Idiots and 17 Day Diet actually teach you a new way how to eat. So if you are eating right, you will lose the weight and keep it off. Let us not forget portion control. I have lost and kept the weight off just by eating smaller portions.
In my search I came across Fat Loss 4 Idiots and The 17 Day Diet, (created by Dr. Moreno). The Fat Loss 4 Idiots claims you can loss 9 to 12 pounds in eleven days. The 17 Day Diet claims you will loss up to 12 pounds in 17 days. Just like with any diet, I think this depends on how committed you are.
This is how they work.
Metabolic Confusion or calorie shifting is not a new idea. This idea of weight loss has been around for several years.
Metabolic confusion also known as calorie shifting causes very fast weight loss. Your body regulates your metabolism based on how you eat. So if you mix your daily eating habits your body can not get used to any specific eating routine. You eat meals with different caloric values to trick your metabolism. Your body will naturally raise metabolism and fat burning levels to maintain control. What happens, fast weight loss.
The most popular metabolic diets are Fat Loss 4 Idiots and The 17 Day Diet. The reviews are from what I have read. I have not as of yet started to use either one.

- Fat Loss 4 Idiots can be downloaded on line and started right away.

I think because of the fact Fat Loss 4 Idiots is done online (which we all spend a lot of time anyway) and the flexibility of choosing your own meals makes this easier to follow. Also I think the 0ne cycle eleven day diet seems easier to follow then a four cycle 17 day diet.
From the reviews and testimony I have read Fat Loss 4 Idiots and 17 Day Diet really do help you to lose weight.
A little exercise would not hurt either.

This sounds very interesting--confusing the body with a different pattern of eating. We've tried the old veggie-vegetable soup diet for three days to lose 6 ponds. But that third day of eating nothing but vegetable soup gets tiring, but worth it.
I worked for a Cardiologist for ten years, who also had a weight loss program, very similar to what you are describing. He also had a liquid that suppressed one's appetite...No I never took the liquid. If we learn to eat smaller portions that is half the battle. Good Hub Granny.

Hi Granny, I have tried every diet ever written and have now come to the conclusion that a smaller plate does the trick along with some general exercising. Like walking in the park, take the dog and enjoy your day together. I was very interested in the suggestion that these diets do work and maybe when I am sat over indulging on chocolate I may take a look. lol
these diets do work. It is all common sense. You eat right you eat less you will lose

I have a friend who has tried every diet going without success.
She was very interested in the Fat Loss 4 Idiots plan, but I am certain that it will not work for her.
Why?
Because she is not honest with herself about what she eats. When she has snacks between meals she instantly forgets that she has had that food. I suspect that some day the calories she consumes between meals exceed her 'official' calories.
I suspect that this is a problem for many people.
