Great news for those of you that thought you could never fit a car lift in your garage.
Dannmar has come out with MaxJax Portable Car Lift System. The MaxJax car lifting system was made to fit any garage with ceilings less then 8feet high.
MaxJax it totally portable. The two post lift comes with wheels and when not in use can be stored away. MaxJax Flush Mount Anchor bolts are installed into your concrete garage floor and remain in the floor. When you are ready to use the MaxJax, you just bolt the lift post to the anchor bolts in the floor.
If you have more then one car bay, you can get extra anchor bolts and add them to the other bays. Now you can use the MaxJax in any of your car bays.
It would seem, that even if you don't have a garage but you have a cement driveway, you could install the anchor bolts in your driveway and store the lift in a shed or your basement when not in use.
Now everyone can own a lift. I wish we had one a few weeks ago when my son had to change the motor in his mustang. It took like 5 days. I think if we had a MaxJax Lift it would have been a lot easier and a lot faster to do.
Just think of the money you can save doing your own car repairs. Oil changes and brake jobs add up.
Maxjax cost around $2,000 but with the money you are saving on car repairs, it is well worth it. Plus you will have the coolest garage around!

That sounds a great tool and veyr useful. Will send the information to my son. Thanks for the info
Wow, what a totally cool machine! I would love to have something like this. My partner and I have a car each, and I have to pay extra for the 2nd parking space. A major pain. This kind of system could be a gift to lots of apartment dwelling folks like us! Cheers!

Every one should have one. I have an older 16,000 pound dual post system that has an overhead bridge rail to carry the hydraulic lines across. I leave it permanently mounted, it could easily be changed to work like this. It's the best addition to my work shop I ever bought. It is mounted to a concrete slab above my home, cave. It has been a great tool as I get older to ease the pain of working on my vehicles. I fabricated a mount plate that locks the arms together and raise my Harley's up on for service, but I also have one that is pneumatic and table shaped in the work area below for lifting a cycle that is easier to use.
Any way this is a great unique hub! voted up, 50
